couples session

an autumn mountain proposal

As far as Caroline knew, she, Jacob and their sweet pup Blaze were only joining me to capture some sweet moments of their family of 3, in the beautiful warm colors left of autumn. It had been her dream to be photographed in the aspens during autumn season since she could remember. However, what she thought was just another photoshoot, was actually her dream surprise PROPOSAL!!

A dream surprise proposal

Looking for the perfect way to propose, Jacob and I came up with the perfect plan! We set up what Caroline thought was just “another pose” that turned out to be the perfect set up to her perfect Proposal. Caroline was shocked and ecstatic and will never forget her sweet man planning out her dream proposal.

Full of joy and love, the rest of this sweet photoshoot was filled with so many happy moments. Mother nature came to show off her goods as well, knowing that another love story was just beginning.

She wanted something that felt truly authentic for her and her little family, so of course we took the session straight to the beach. Lauren, Aldo and Bella go to the beach daily, as it's part of their routine and helps them cool off in the humidity and heat of the caribbean. Having the session there, created some of the most nostalgic and beautiful photos for them to cherish forever. There were laughs, play breaks in the sand, silly moments, feeding breaks and of course, lots and lots of love.

Over the last 3 years, they have created a beautiful relationship, built upon trust, honesty, dance, movement, and of course love. From that they created the most beautiful American-Costa Rican little girl. While traveling To Costa Rican, Lauren asked me if I could capture the true essence of their life down in the Caribbean. Of course I said, YES!

Family love in the jungle

Lauren, A Utah native and Aldo, a Costa Rican Native, met early in 2020, while Lauren was traveling abroad. As it came clear that Lauren would have to either leave Costa Rica or stay during the covid lockdown of 2020, Lauren decided to stay. During her stay, she met the love of her life, and now father of her sweet baby girl Bella Jade.

As the session flew by, there were silly moments, serious moments, snack breaks and of course lots of running around with the little one. We captured moments that will never return, as mom and dad held their sweet boy close. After a few tears, created from the joy of capturing these moments, Erin felt overwhelmed with joy knowing these memories will live on forever.

Surrounded by the sweet smells of nature and the knowing of having spent many moments himself within the Amphitheatre, Dave felt proud and excited to be showing his sweet two year little boy his stomping grounds.

Family moments in nature

As one of Colorado’s most iconic Parks, Red Rocks is always one of my favorite places to photograph. When Dave and Erin came to me wanting something that could really feel like “home” I knew that Red Rocks was the perfect place to do some family portraits at. With Dave being a Musician and Erin being his right hand woman and a big music fan, There was no better place to be.

Surrounded by the rich history of the Tapestry House, a Victorian House built in 1890, Jake and Megan  tied the knot. Creating future nostalgia, memories they'll look back on forever.

The couple shared a special moment, leaving their legacy on the grounds of the Tapestry House by placing their personalized brick into the brick walkway. Forever ingrained within.
